The mind is hurting right now, far more than the foot is. Exercises have gone well this week and I’m walking around with relative freedom but there is a reminder there with heavier pressure on the foot and I’m still yielding slightly. It will improve with time but for now, it is what it is.
Posting zero-mile weeks is a real kick to the ego – let’s be honest. This whole year is pear-shaped anyway but not being able to run at all is really the rancid icing on a disgusting cake. My big concern is that my cardiovascular fitness is now taking a huge hit. I really need to do something about that or it will be absolute carnage when I do get back on the roads again.
