Pushed the boat out a little this week with four sessions, three of which were 30-minute efforts. I even squeezed in an interval session of sorts with 30 minutes of alternating between 7mph and 8mph for 5 minutes each. That left me drained I don’t mind saying. It shouldn’t have but that’s where I am right now and one chip at a time…

A good week though. I’m almost up to the cumulative distance of a normal midweek run! 🙈 Do not speak ill of the plan! I’m not fighting against this and I’m actively looking forward to my brief stints on the treadmill now. I even started to think about the joys of a well-executed 20-miler during the week and it made me smile. Perhaps all is not lost? One day again hopefully.
